Today at St. Mark’s I had spanish and drama. In drama I watched people do their show. There were at least two people. My group was the only group who didn’t get to show because we aren’t really finished. But all the other ones were very funny. I think my group will show ours the next time we have drama. That will be next week. I know what skeptical and bombard mean. Skeptical means you don’t believe it. You think it’s fake. Bombard means overwhelming. For example if someone is asking me so many questions then I am bombarded with questions. In PE Doc wasn’t here so coach Giler came back to coach first grade. We ran two laps and then we played pinball. On the first round of pinball my team won because we had Sioux and Blake. Sioux probably hit all the pins down in PE. The score was 3 to 2 or 1. The second round we didn’t have enough time to finish the round. But my team got the most pins down. The score was 2 to 1 I think. So we won every round and the whole game.

Today at St. Mark’s I had spanish, art, and music. In art I drew a polar bear that I am going to glue on my landscape of the Arctic I made in the last art class. In music we learned about Elvis Presley. He was born in 1935 and he died in 1977. He had a very short life. Elvis had a brother. But he was stillborn. That means that his brother died when he was still born. Elvis got a guitar when he was only eleven years old. I know one of Elvis’s songs. It is called Blue Suede Shoe. We watched two Blue Suede Shoe movies on the TV in music. The first one Elvis was holding a guitar. In the second one he was holding a microphone and he had a band. His hairstyle was also different. In one part of the movie he kissed a girl in the audience. I think that was his wife. But I’m not sure. We also practiced some instruments in music. I hope you have a good day too.

Today at St. Mark’s I had art and drama. In art I started making a landscape of the Arctic. We drew the line in the middle as the ground. We drew mountains that were small so that it looked like they were far off in the distance. Then we took the same white oil Pastel that we used for the small mountains and the line for the ground and turned it on it’s side and colored on the bottom to ake it look like snow. Then we took a gray piece of paper and we cut it in half but we cut it in curves. Then we took one at a time and used the real Pastel and colored it up and away using different colors to make it look like the northern lights. But to make it look more like the northern lights we used our finger, started on the color and swiped up and away. We did one row on the top and one row on the bottom. I only did one row of northern lights and I did not swipe. Later we will make a polar Bear and glue it onto the paper. In drama I played two games on the stage. The first one was called Shipwrect. The way you play is when Mrs. Massy says Starboard you go to the right. When she says Port you go to the left. When she says Hoist the Sails you use your arm and hands like you are pulling the rope so the sails go up. When she says Man Overboard you do this in slow motion and say uoaaouuaouaouosavemeeblublubblubbblubbleblubb like you are falling into the water. And there is a lot more but I don’t want to say them and act them out. The second game was called Headbandz. It is where there is four people in four groups. One person from every group puts the headband on. They put a card on the headband but he cannot look at the card. Then the other people look at the card and act it out. After one act, The person with the headband has to guess what the card is. Then they keep going until the person gets the card correct. If the person does not get the card correct for a while then the other can start giving clues and hints. We just keep going in number order until it is time to go. You can just keep going until it is time to go. you dod not have to do your turn and then another persons turn or do them all at the same time. Today at St. Mark’s I had science and library. In science Mr. Dillon put a Moisture Meter in Mrs. Beacoms right bulb. On it the numbers 1 2 3 are all dry. That’s why they are red. Numbers 4 5 6 7 I think are all moist. That’s why they are green. Numbers 8 9 10 are all wet. That’s why they are blue. You want to keep the Moisture Meter on Moist. That is best. But when I walked around to see the plants, the Moisture Meter was on wet. It was almost nine. That means that there is a little bit too much water in the plant I think. Mr. Dillon didn’t let us say anything about it. In library we read Little Tricker Meets Big Double The Bear. I checked out a Star Wars book where you are looking straight at Darth Vader’s mask. It is like you are looking at his face so close to him like right up to him. I also checked out a Battle Royal it is where two animal’s from five books fight each other. So for example two animal’s from one book fight each other. Another two animals from one different book fight each other and so on. But remember, every two animals is from a different book. Don’t get confused.

A few days ago was Christmas. I got a Star Wars puzzle and a watch. I also got a two lego sets. And I got two jump ropes. A red one and a blue one. One of the lego sets was a Darth Vader where his body is big and you put the little Darth Vader inside the head spot of the big Darth Vader. So the big Darth Vader Does not have a head until you put the little Darth Vader inside the head spot of the big Darth Vader. Then the little Darth Vader’s head will be the big Darth Vader’s head and the little Darth Vader’s head. The second lego set is Obi-Wans Jedi Starfighter. It is very cool. You put R4-P17s body inside the thing that is in front of th thing that Obi-Wans steering part of the ship. And R4-P17s head on one of the wings. And on New years day, we got to do no work because it was a holiday. And today me and Brett get to stay home because it is still part of our Christmas break.

Today is Christmas Eve!!! On the weekend we went to watch the Nutcracker. We watched every dance. They were different. Some of them had children. And the characters were different. We also had a very big table. There were eleven people there. They were Nainai, Yeye, Uncle Alan, Mommy, Daddy, Craig, Brett, Ahma, Auntie Julie, Diana, and me. But Uncle Alan, Auntie Julie, and Ahma are leaving today. So that means that whenever we go to Nainai’s house it will just be one table. But it is still eight people which is quite a lot. Nainai put up a Christmas tree. If you press the white button on the plug the colors change. We have a Christmas tree but the colors don’t change. But we have many presents under it. Craig already looked at one and he is not supposed to do that until Christmas. We had a fun week. I hope you do ‘too.

Today at St. Mark’s I watched the Polar Express. What happened is that there is this boy wgo gets aboard the Polar Express to go to the North Pole. At first whe makes friends with a girl. Then there is a boy who doesn’t want to go onto the Polar Express but then he changes his mind and then starts running after the Polar Express. He couldn’t make it. So the boy stopped the train so that the new boy could get on. Then the conductor said Who in the world stopped this train? Then the boy said I did. Why? asked the conductor. So that the boy could get on the train said the boy. And theres more but I don’t want to keep going on and on and on and on and on. I also had music. Mr. K wasn’t here because he went on a trip with the choir. So instead we had Mrs. Whitaker. But since Mrs. Whitaker isn’t good at music we just watched the real movie that Whitaker got for the whole time. When it was time to go, we stopped the movie. We almost made to half the movie. Today at St. Mark’s I had music and science. In science I filled out a packet. On a page was when you have to match the word or picture to the job. Then the next page you have to fill in the blank with a word from the box to finish the sentence. The last page is where you have to finish or complete the sentence by using the cycle in the box and putting in on the blank to finish complete the sentence. It is supposed to make a sentence with the word you put in is the step. In music I sang Away in a Manger and played a game where someone sits facing away from everybody and everybody has to agree for who has to say “I have a question”. Mr. K was the one we played for the only round. Mr. K failed a lot. He got two out of seven. He got Sioux and someone that I forgot or do not know who it was. But it was playing that game. Then we had a little bit of time to watch Frosty the Snowman. We watched it until it was almost over. I hope you have a day like that ‘too.

Today at St. Mark’s I had a half day! I had a party. I had fruit, a cookie, some popcorn, fruit snacks, and some chocolate milk. I took home my leftover popcorn, I got Gold Fish, and I got a goody bag. Inside the goody bag there was a cakepop, marshmallows, a gingerbread man, M&Ms, and a candy cane. I also brought home a gingerbread napkin, water, and a string cheese. I used stickers to make a penguin. In math we had a new math mystery called The Selfish Elf. I worked with my friends at my table. We just finished clue one. But we didn’t cross any thing out. Before we started the party we walked around the Elipse to the playground. At the playground I played a game with Bryant, Benjamin, and Jack. It doesn’t have any name. The way you play is that Bryant is the bad guy and Benjamin, Jack, and me are trying to kill Bryant. This is just pretend. But Bryant can kill you very easily because he has special armor that makes him stronger. he uses different forces. It is not easy to kill Bryant. Even if you are undefeatable he can still kill you. I died many times. But Benjamin is healing me. Nobody can kill Bryant. You can hide. But Bryant is on the lookout for people who want to die.

Today at St. Mark’s I had art and music. In art I finished my Christmas Wreath. So I helped Tristan with his until it was time to go. In music I sang Jingle Bells in spanish. It goes like this Cascabel Cascabel llego Navidad es un dia el algeria y Felicidad. Mr. K or Mr. Khestinejad opened the prize store. I got a rubber chicken worth twenty points and if you squeeze him hard then he will mke the chicken sound or the cluck cluck sound. Some other choices were Tic Tac Toe, Checkers, Tech Deck, Harmonica, Hot Wheels, Rebux Cube, and maybe some other stuff. Some kids got some of the stuff. I am trying to get forty points right now so Brett and Craig can have one. Right now we are just sharing mine. When Diana gets older I will try to get another one of those rubber chickens for Diana.
