Lunch Money Chapter 22

Summary: In this chapter, Greg, Maura and Mr. Z give a speech at the meeting. They explain that they are making comics and that they want other kids and other people to help them make more comics for the Chunky Comics Club. They want to make comics for children and they want to sell comics to the school library and the school would get 10% of their profits. Then, after each of them had spoken, the chairperson was about to move on when Mrs. Davenport’s hand went straight up. She wanted to know more about the Chunky Comics Club.

Bluey Season 1 Episode 46

Summary: In this episode, Bingo and Bluey are playing with Dad and its bedtime until Bingo can’t find Floppy. So, they think back to what they did before they went to bed. Bluey was taking Dad’s order and he says that he wants a chickenrat egg. So, they dress up as ninjas and turn Dad into a chickenrat so he could lay an egg. Then, they were frying the egg until it was bedtime. Then, Bingo remembers where Floppy is. She remembers that she put her in the chickenrat egg.

Favorite Part: My favorite part of this episode is when Bluey’s family was having lunch and Dad ate the sauerkraut. Then, he kept burping. In the end, he burped and said “Sorry, I have a problem.”

The Lesson: I think the lesson of this episode is that whenever you can’t find something, you always think back to what you did before with that thing.

My Rating: I give this episode a 4 out of 5 stars. It is great.

Bluey Season 1 Episode 45

Summary: In this episode, Bluey, Bingo, and Dad go to the store to get some food. But then, Dad reminds them of Kids. So, they play Kids. Bluey pretends to be the Mum, Bingo is the child, Snowdrop, and Dad is the big brother, Diddums. So, they go around getting food and every time Bluey is not watching, Bingo would do something bad and then Bluey would turn around and Bingo would say that Diddums did it until Bluey believed Diddums.

Favorite Part: My favorite part is when Dad got the name Diddums.

The Lesson: I think the lesson of this episode is to never lie and tell that someone else did something when you actually did it. Bingo would always make Bluey think Dad did the bad thing.

My Rating: I give this episode a 3 out of 5 stars. It is great.

Lunch Money Chapter 21

Summary: In this episode, Greg is thinking about what the meeting would be like at the School Committee meeting during music class. He was very excited about him and Maura talking in front of adults and probably arguing with them, too. But Greg also had this one worry: What if every adult also thought that he was just a useless little boy and a little money-grubber.

Lunch Money Chapter 20

Summary: In this episode, Mr. Z is teaching math class when Mrs. Davenport walks in. She wants to talk with Mr. Z. She says that Greg and Maura want to sell their comic books at school and that Mr. Z was going to help a little. Mrs. Davenport says that she said to not sell comic books at school. But Mr. Z said that the school was also selling books at school. So Mrs. Davenport said that she might make kids allowed to sell comic books at school and walked away.

Lunch Money Chapter 19

Summary: In this chapter, Maura and Greg go to see Mr. Z in his classroom at exactly 7:30 AM to talk about the comics. Maura and Greg were arguing about who should talk first when Mr. Z whacked his hand on his desk. Then, they started talking about it. I don’t know what they were saying but Maura was writing down notes in her notebook and everybody thought that this was a pretty good idea and Greg would get a little money.

Lunch Money Chapter 18

Summary: In this chapter, Maura shows Greg the flyer and then they went to Mr. Z to tell him about those. They say that the school is selling books to make money so they ask why they can’t sell their comic books to make some money. Mr. Z suggested that they could go to the principal meeting, a meeting where the principals of every school come to have a meeting about something, and ask Mrs. Davenport. But then, Greg and Maura said that they would talk to Mr. Z at 7:30 AM tomorrow before school started and they rushed out.

Bluey Season 1 Episode 44

Summary: In this episode, Bluey and Bingo climb up Mount Mumandad, which was Mum and Dad sleeping, in a race. Bingo gets all the hiking stuff that they needed. Then, Dad makes a storm happen and they have to stay in Bingo’s tent. Then, when the storm stopped, they went up, still racing. Mum then said that you should never race with someone. You should always work with teamwork.

Favorite Part: My favorite part is when Bluey and Bingo worked together to stick the flag on the top (Dad’s head) so hard that Dad woke up with a yelp and said “Oww!!!”

The Lesson: I think the lesson of this episode is to always find ways to use teamwork with people.

My Rating: I give this episode a 4 out of 5 stars. It is one of my favorites.

Lunch Money Chapter 17

Summary: In this chapter, Maura was thinking of how she could sell her comic books until she read the announcement sheet that Mrs. Davenport had passed out. One line said “Our town School Committee has strict policy about what may and may not be sold at school” and Maura thought about the things that they allowed to sell and not sell. Then, she walked around the school and saw people, machines, and different things trying to sell some things. There was pizza trying to be sold, candy trying to be sold, coke and sports drinks, and frosty cans of juice. This got Maura thinking. She wondered whether or not she could sell her comics.

Lunch Money Chapter 16

Summary: In this chapter, Maura comes over to Greg’s house to show him the pages that she did. Then, they went downstairs to the playroom and they did some more working. They completed five comics. But some of the comics were bad after they finished them. Some of them had crooked staples, some of them had inking that were too dark, and some of them had bad folding and bad trimming.
