Summary: In this chapter, Jessie goes to Megan’s house and when she knocks, she finds Carly standing there. Then, Megan comes running down the stairs. Jessie said that they were going to do a lemonade stand. But Carly said that they weren’t going to do a lemonade stand. Then, she left and Megan said that they could do a lemonade stand, Jessie and her. But, Jessie said that they could make more money by selling other things, like Cheetos, potato chips, and pretzels. But, when the stand was up, people were just buying the snacks instead of the lemonade and the snacks were cheaper. People were saying that they already had a lot of lemonade. Jessie wondered where all that lemonade was coming from. Then, she went around the corner and everybody was there. Evan and his friend Paul had been selling lemonade at a stand too. She then went to the garage and found them playing air hockey. Evan said that they had made 45 bucks when the sign that she saw had said 10 cents per cup and that meant that they could have made $9.60 per cup. They said that the grownups had paid extra because they thought it was so nice that they were selling lemonade on a hot day and working so hard. Then, Jessie said that they had a four way split and they should have gotten $11.25 each. But Evan said that everybody let him have all the money and Jessie said that it wasn’t fair. Evan was probably ahead in the 100 dollar bet.
