Today we stay home. The ASI Gymnastics place is only on Mondays. We decided to go there since we liked it. We practiced the things that we practiced there today. The excercises were monkey bars, hanging on one monkey bar running, jumping, and rock wall climbing. For the Rock wall we did going straight up and then we did something where you start on one side and then you work your way up and to the other side. We could not put our hands on the top until we could put it on. That is usually when Daddy says so. I got really really really sweaty. Now we have to do our work I am doing writing and Brett is doing math. We are doing the same checklist as yesterday except it is lost we cannot find it. The picture I drew yesterday is a picture of earth and a rocket. I wrote the word earth in bold like this: Earth. I got a new color pen with Santa’s head on top. The colors are Red, Green, Blue, and Gray/Black. Now I use it for math. I think I hear Brett clicking the colors up and down for his math.

Today Brett, Daddy, and I stay home. We do a whole checklist. We already did our excercises which are stretching, running, throwing the ball, and jumping. I am so sweaty now. The checklist is math, writing, reading, hearing test, drums, and drawing. I am writing and Brett is doing math. We will switch when we are done. Then we will do reading and hearing test and then switch. Then drums and drawing and switch. I got a new book from the library called The Very Last of the Really Great Whangdoodles. I have never heard that word before but I will keep reading to see if I believe they are a real animal. We will stay home for this week, next week, and the week after that. Then I think we will go on a trip. Then Ahma will stay with us for two weeks I think. And then school starts. There might be something during one extra week that I do not know.

Today at Chamberlain Studios Karate Camp, I got a blue, yellow, and black stripe on my belt. I got red yesterday. You get a red stripe when you do good at punching. You get blue when you do good in Kata. That’s the Blocking Form 1 and Blocking Form 2. You get yellow when you do good at Overhead and Side clubs. You get Black when you do good at Grabbling. That’s what we did today. Tommorow I think we are going to get our white stripe and since Friday is July 4th so we don’t have camp we get to upgrade our belt on Thursday. Brett’s probably going to get a yellow belt. Then on the third week he’s going to wear a second yellow belt which is a yellow belt with a black stripe. Then on the fourth week he is going to get an orange belt. But that’s only if orange belt is after second yellow belt. I will be at a yellow belt after the fourth week.

Today is the first day of Chamberlain Studios for this year. I praticed Blocking Form number 1 and Blocking Form number 2. Since I am writing on the computer, it is hard to describe what Blocking Form number 1 and Blocking Form number 2 are. We also mostly and mainly (the two m’s)practiced kicks, punches, and blocks. For the first snacktime I had applesauce and yoggies. For lunchtime I had baozi and a cheese sandwich. For the second snacktime I had grapes and baby carrots. I said the order of food times how it was today. For those three food times we watched a movie that Brett or I don’t know. It’s called the Lego Movie. We watched it for all three food times. For the first half our sensei was Sensei Alexander and for the second half our sensei was Sensei D.J. Last year it was Sensei Kramar and Sensei Alexander. I don’t know if Sensei Kramar will be here out of this week or the four weeks.

Today at Chinese Camp my class did the day schedule. During Kung Fu we did our rehearsal. We also watched other rehearsals that was from a higher grade. Sitting in chairs just watching other shows that we weren’t even doing took up both Chinese Language classes and by the time we got back it was already lunchtime. Same with the Jump Rope class. We did our rehearsal. Since I ate my snack during lunch it took some time, so I didn’t finish all my lunch. The Kung Fu teacher said she would bring her lightsaber tomorrow. I hope she does. For craft we made a lantern. We decorated and colored it however we wanted. It was really fun. I am doing writing right now. I already did math, read, piano, and writing Chinese. I still have to do drawing. Yesterday Brett was trying to reach something, and the table fell on his head. His head hurt when that happened. But now he says it is okay.

Today at Chinese Camp I learned the types of festivals Chinese people celebrate on Chinese New Year. They are Spring festival, Lantern festival, there is another one, but I forgot what it is, after the one I forgot there are Loong Boat festival, Chinese Valentines Day, and there are two more I forgot. There are seven in total. I am having a fun day so far. I am doing writing right now. I already did read, write Chinese, math, and something else that has to do with music but not piano. We did one of Brett’s songs and used chopsticks to hit cups to follow the left-hand part of the song with the beat. I still have to do drawing, and ball. Then if there is time, we can watch TV. We might go to the pool. We usually go a quarter to eight. Which is either right before fruit or right after fruit. I hope you have an awesome, wonderful great day. Good-bye.

Today at Chinese Camp I learned some transportation in Chinese. Car is qi che. Boat is chuan. Airplane is feiji. Bus is gonggongqi che. Bicycle is zixingche. Taxi is chuzhuqi che. For lunch I had two slices of grapefruit, some half baby tomatoes, little cucumber pieces, baby carrots, and chicken slices in the salad container, peanut butter and jelly sandwich, and one clementine. For jump roping we went to the stage to practice the showcase. We did the short rope first and then the long rope. It used music. Today was fun.

Juneteenth is also known as Freedom Day or Emancipation Day. It marks the day June 19, 1865. What happened on June 19, 1865, is all of the slavery ended in the United States. Everybody was free. Even African Americans finally learned that they were free from the slavery. So, American people memorize this day as a holiday to celebrate freedom. So, everybody who works in the office or works at work or anywhere get a day off. So, People want to celebrate freedom on June 19. I do not have Chinese Camp because of the holiday. I get to stay at Nainai’s house and do work. I cannot wait for Craig to get here. Brett and I have talked about a secret plan that we can do to surprise Craig with the yellow ring Nainai found under the couch. Brett and I actually think it is a good plan.

Today at Chinese camp I learned the moves for the twelve zodiac animals. For the show next week all I know is I am going to be in the jump roping part. I am not sure, but I think we will be doing the short ropes and the big rope. My friends for the big jumping rope and maybe the short ones are Carson, Grace, I forgot the rest. Out of all the people some will be staying here for the show, and some will be leaving this Friday. Tomorrow there is no school or camp. For lunch I had Baozi, cucumbers, tomatoes, and clementines. We watched Tom and Jerry. My friend Alex said it was the old version. It did look different from the usual one we watched before this one. In Calligraphy we drew a pattern of a mask onto our own mask. It looked too hard for me, so I drew it on a piece of paper. When I was finished, I put my name, the date, and Maddie gave a name for the mask guy. She named him Soar. Then Michael gave me math problems. I got two wrong and one correct.

Today is the day before Chinese Camp starts. I think it is going to be fun. Daddy made a checklist for us. It is read, write, math, draw, piano, Chinese which just means watch a movie where the people speak Chinese and practice Chinese with Nainai, and ball or throw the ball. The way I decided to do the checklist is Brett does one thing and I do the next thing until we get to Chinese. We do Chinese and ball together. My loose tooth is still in. It might fall out today or within the three weeks we are going to Chinese Camp. I am excited. It was really fun at Great Smoky Mountains. My favorite part was when we were at Dollywood. My favorite rides was probably Big Bear Mountain, Dragonflier, and Firechaser or how Brett and Craig call it Fire engine. I also liked the shows they were really good. Hiking which was the other thing besides Dollywood was OK. The part I just didn’t like wass going up, getting hot, and getting tired.
