Today at St. Marks I learned ab out verbs. A verb is an action word. There are two different kinds of actions. There is Physical action and Mental action. A Physical action is when you can see someone doing it. So, like blink. Blink you can see someone blink. A mental action is when you don’t know if this person is doing this thing or not. Like think. Think. You can never know when someone is thinking or not. I also learned about 4 different bridges in science today. Suspension bridge, Arch bridge, Beam bridge and Truss bridge And I learned this kind of bridge it’s not really a type of bridge, but you can call it this: Combination bridge. Because it’s when two or more bridge parts come together and make a bridge you don’t know. So, you can call it Combination bridge if you want. Maybe next time in science I will learn another bridge.

Today at St. Marks I did art. I played with clay. Red, yellow and blue. I made a triangle with the first set of clay. Then for the second set of clay, I took a little bit of yellow and a little bit of red I mushed and squished and pulled apart and squeezed. And after that I got orange. I put the little orange clay ball between my red clay and yellow clay I made on the first set of clay. Then, for the rest of the second set of clay, I made it into a line/strip and put it into my baggy. It was fun doing art the clay smells good If you smell it, it smells good. Smell it. Well, what does it smell like? Good right? Yeah. I learned that art has many different kinds of things. Such as these things: Line, color, shape, size, form, texture, and value.

Today at St. Marks I learned about common nouns and proper nouns. So, a common noun always starts with a lowercase letter. A proper noun always starts with an uppercase letter. Common nouns are a type of person, place or thing. A proper noun is a specific person, place or thing. Here is one example for a common noun and a proper noun. Dog is the common noun. But let’s say this dog’s name is Fido. Fido is the proper noun. Here is another one. Girl is the common noun. But let’s say that Rachel is the girl’s name. Then, Rachel would be the proper noun. Last one. Computer is the common noun. But let’s say the computer is Platinum 10. Then, Platinum 10 is the proper noun. So, now do you know about proper and common nouns? Good. A little bit of practice for everything will help you get better. Soon, you will be a genius at everything.

Today at St. Marks I did jump roping in the gym. It was fun. I also learned about a Democracy. It is a type of government that run the people. A government is a person who makes the laws. Democracy is a group of people who vote for the next president. Dictatorship is no people vote for the next king or Chinese president. The previous Chinese President or king or queen chooses who to be the next one. Republic is in-between Dictatorship and Democracy. Republic is a group of people that choose a smaller group of people then the smaller group of people choose who to be the next one. I also learned three kinds of branches for the United States. There are fifty states in America. The three branches are executive branch, legislate branch and third jucial branch.

Today at St. Marks I had a Grilled cheese sandwich and broccoli and steamed rice and of course milk. That is all what I had for lunch today at St. Marks. I have lunch at the Great Hall. It is so noisy that it is like a monster bird chirping so loud at the top of its lungs in a cave. I also had science today. We learned about bridges. We learned about the Golden Gate Bridge and the Arch Bridge. It was fun. We read a book called Javier builds a bridge. It is a book about bridges. I also had library. I checked out a Star Wars book. It looks very cool. You can check out two books or one book. But you cannot check out at least three books. Maybe until you are older. Maybe. I also had P.E. What I did in P.E. was I ran around the whole gym for seven minutes. It was very long. Tomorrow is my birthday. It was a very fun fun day. A good day at school.

today at St. Marks I got new homework. One of them is a language arts homework today the language arts homework is you have to write all the words on football benches. There is fourteen words. Cake, mine, plate, size, ate, grape, prize, wipe, race line, pile, rake, mistake, and guide. That is fourteen words and five stairs. So, I would have to write seventy words. which is a lot. It is so much. It took around five minutes.

Today at St. Marks I had Computer science. At Computer Science without a keyboard, we practiced typing on the ipad. The letters popped up and we could start typing. Also, At Computer Science we practiced tracing cursive lowercase and uppercase letters on the ipad. And drawings and numbers. We could even write words tomorrow at Computer Science we are going to write sentences and stories. And maybe some easy math problems on the cursive writing in the math section. I don’t know if we are doing the math problems. Ms. Whitaker my Computer Science teacher said maybe. We also played some games on our ipad. It was fun and exciting and so doing what we want to do in Computer Science. Ms. Whitaker said that Computer Science will be only forty minutes long. Which is pretty short. It was very fun in Computer Science.

I am Adrian R. Zhang. I am 6 years old. I have two brothers Brett and Craig. Brett is 5 years old. Craig is 3 years old. My favorite movie is Star Wars. My favorite character is Darth Vader. He has a red lightsaber, he is bad, and he wears black armor.

Today at St. Marks, I had Drama we read the story The very busy spider. I acted out as an owl. There were spiders, horses, cows, pigs, dogs, roosters, ducks, and owls. It was fun reading and acting that story out. I also had Math. I filled in some of the sheets of papers and some I took home to practice and fill in myself. Some are hard and some are easy. It depends on which one I get. I get two every day and maybe some more I get one math homework and one Elay homework which is also the same as language arts homework. And maybe some more math homework and maybe some more language arts homework. But every day I go to library which I think is tomorrow we always get a bookmark. There are books at the library and there are games at the library and there are puzzles at the library. And there are computers at the library which we don’t use until fourth grade. It was very fun today!!!

Today is my 4th day of St. Marks. I have sixteen friends. They are Miachel, Milton, Sioux, Tristan, Jack, Benjamin, Alexander, Austin, Lee, Adam, Alex, Akash, Charlie, Willie, and two but I can’t remember them. I had Spanish I had library. In library I played Harry Potter chess the way you play that is the pieces look different, but you play the way normal chess is played. I played Star Wars How I played Star Wars is there are ten people, and one person gets five and the other person gets five and they just play a fight. Whoever loses all their people first the other person wins. It’s pretty simple. Only one or two people can play. If someone else wants to play, that person has to play with.
