Summary: In this Lemonade War book, Evan and Jessie used to be best buddies until they get a note saying that they were going to be in the same class next year in fourth grade. That is when Evan got all mad and said that he hates Jessie and started making her feel bad. Then they make a bet to see who can make the most money by selling lemonade. The goal is to reach over $100 and the winner takes all. So, they get to work out in the hot heat over the five days that they have. On the last day, Jessie gets to go to the beach with her friend’s family. Evan is mad at her for putting all kinds of disgusting stuff in the lemonade. So, he takes her lemonade earnings and loses it at his friend Jack’s house. So, when Jessie gets back, she is very sad because Evan took her money and replaced it with his money. So, they apologize for doing those things and then they become best friends again. They sit together on the stairs with their mom and watch the fireworks.
