Today at St. Mark’s I had science and art. In science we talked about solar ovens. I learned about a different solar oven where there is a half moon thing around it that reflects light to the pot. The pot is where you put the food in and it has to be in the right spot in order for the light to reflect on the pot. When the light reflects on the pot the heat gets in the pot to make the food boil. In art we made a nest, some eggs, and some baby dinosaurs coming out of the nest as if it were just born. In PE we ran one lap, did some jump roping while the upper schoolers were playing some kind of game. Then Doc said we could play Gilerball, but we didn’t have time to play Gilerball so we just played a little bit of Everybodys It. I played with just James today. Just the two of us. We played a game with the basketball called Horse. We didn’t finish the game but there was a tie. The tie was O to O.

Today at St. Mark’s I had spanish, art, and music and drama in one class. In art I used clay to make a dinosaur. I had no spikes or a tail. I had four legs and a round body. Mrs. Davis said to have a round body. Not a square, rectangle, or flat body. In music and drama we practiced our first two songs and then learned our third. The first part of the third song is “You can call me Tom or Ann”.If you don’t say that correctly and you say TomorAnn people might think you are saying a boy named Clarks brother. His name is TomorAnn or something like that. Then 1A went to drama and 1B stayed at music. In drama we did the speech. Akash said the same thing. He said “No, you must be so large. Besides, look at that gut of yours. It’s huge”. Or something like that. I hope you have a wonderful great day at school on March 24. Will you?

Today at St. Mark’s I had computer. In computer I got to explore the Code folder. I played CodemonkeyJr. at the end. It was very fun. I started writing my real Fairy Tale. If I can finish it, finish the illustrations, read it to Mrs. G, and Mrs. G says yes, then I will become a knight. I will get a pretend sword and probably a sheath. I will have my coat of arms. I am not sure if they are going to make my coat of arms into a real shield or not. I do bot think so. If we have pretend swords then I don’t think we will have a real shield. Maybe the shield will be pretend or I will not have a shield. The one paper one that I made is just gonna be hanging up on the cabinet or I will take it home. I hope you have a super duper great day like me.

Today at St. Mark’s I had spanish, library, and music and drama. In spanish since I had spanish yesterday today I watched the third grade dress rehearsal. It was You’re a good man Charlie Brown. One part was so funny. It was when the Snoopys and the Woodstock’s came out one of the Snoopys was yelling words out and he was like moving so weirdly and looking up. In library Mrs. Montgomery read us a story about Merlin. I did not check out any books. Instead I played Star Wars Chess with Sioux and I lost. Sioux was Rebel and I was Empire. I guess Rebel always wins because in the movies it did. In music and drama I practiced my song and then I racticed a new song that did not have any singing. They were notes that had an X on top instead of a circle.

Today at St. Mark’s it was Day X for Lower School because Middle and Upper school had parent teacher conferences. Day X is a day where the schedule is different from the regular days. The schedule is special. I had two recesses. The first one was the real one. It was either playground or field/circle. The second one all first grade went to the playground or the Ellipse. I had science right before lunch! Usually we have science right after our first homeroom or after our first language arts. I had spanish right before PE! Usually I have spanish right after our first homeroom or right before the art that is right before lunch. I did not have a cookout. I played with Alexander C. and Alexander K., Rodney, Charles, and probably some other kids at the first recess. At the second recess I played with Jack, and Akash. The friends that I wrote are some of the number friends that daddy told me to play with. I also remember other kids that I played with but I am not going to put write them down because they are not number friends.

Today at St. Mark’s I had art and music and drama. In art I went on a field trip to a cave bear in the science building. It was very big. It was just bones. It wasn’t alive. I drew as much as I could. Mrs. Davis did that because I was one class in front of Mrs. Brooms class so we just did something else to catch Mrs. Brooms class up to our class. I think Mrs. Davis wants both classes to do the same thing. In music and drama Mr. K and Mrs. Massy told us that our show will be with dinosaurs. There are a lot of songs. I just got to learn the first song and there was a speech. I didn’t say anything on the speech. Mrs. Brooms class and Mrs. Beacoms class were both in the music room.

Today at St. Mark’s I had spanish and drama. In drama I played a game called Gift Box. The way you play is Mrs. Massy chooses someone and that person has to use their hands and draw a pretend gift box, pretend that that person is untying a ribbon on that gift box, pretend that that person is taking of the lid, and then they have to act out what their present is. They can only act out what their present is. They can not say what it is because the other people have to guess what the present is by watching the persons acting. The person can choose what their present can be. But it has to be school appropriate. In PE I ran one lap and then we voted on tag games, pinball, or poison ball. At first The score was 10, 11, 11. Tag games was out. So we voted on poison ball and pinball. We played pinball with one upper schooler on each team. The upper schoolers left on our last game. The score at the end of the game was 4 to 1. My team lost. My team was the blue team.

Today at St. Mark’s I had science and art. In science when Mr. Dillon took out the microgreens there was mold in it and it shouldn’t be there. So Mr. Dillon dumped all of it into the trash can and he said that he will plant new seeds but we didn’t see him do it. Then after I finished the packet I put my papers I have been doing with flowers in my right hand side of my folder and the papers the first paper that I did with flowers was at the top and then the papers got more down as it was getting farther away from the first papers date. In art I finished my spring picture by filling in the other white spaces with water colors and paint. I painted the sky and the flowers and the leaves on the stem of the flower. I also had Typing Club. That is where I get to go up to Mrs. Whitakers classroom and go to typing cclub and use a keyboard to type the letters on the ipad to move on to the next lesson. Today I just finished lesson 55. All the other kids are probably under lesson 30, I’ll bet. Lesson 55 is where you start practice using the Shift key. It actually started before lesson 55.

Today at St. Mark’s I had spanish, art, and music. In art I made a picture of a spring season with the paper portrait way. We drew flowers and grass. We left all the other spaces white because Mrs. Davis said that we will be using water colors and paint I think. In music I sang a song that goes like this: Over the river to feed my sheep. Over the river to Charlie. Over the river to feed my sheep to, feed them well on barley. That’s it. I have a friend named Charlie. Then we played a game where after after everyone sings the song two people roll a ball and the ball that gets closest to the X is the winner. We didn’t finish the game because people were not behaving. Then we played a game on the ipad and I got fourth place. Tristan could sing the Yakko’s World song all the way up to where Mr. K is. My senior buddy came to visit. I got to decorate a mask and my buddy. I used purple, green, and yellow. We also used some stickers that were different shapes, colors, and sizes. Those are the same colors as my three necklaces. I didn’t finish my whole mask but I got as far as I could. There was a castle that we tried to finish in our classroom and the seniors and their buddy’s finished it.

Today at St. Mark’s I had science and drama. In science I finished my hand pollinator and finished testing it. My hand pollinator picked up a lot of pollen and dropped off a lot of pollen. In drama I played a game called Mirror I think. The way you play is you have a partner and someone is boy A and soeone is boy B. Then Mrs. Massy chooses a boy to be the leader. For example Mrs. Massy says boy A is the leader then boy A gets to do some slow easy moves. The other boy has to copy the leader like he was the mirror. My partner was Michael and he was boy A. Three groups got to stay up and show everybody else a good example. Michael and I were one of the groups. The two other ones were Sioux and Alex and Austin and Jack. At recess I played with James, Alex, Blake, Rodney, Nathan, and some other ones that I forgot.
